Hello, I am

Max Koedam

Lead Engineer

Did you know?
Outside of work, I enjoy the simple things. Going for a walk, good food and relaxing in the evening with a series. And when the weather is nice, I never say no to a festival with a beer.

About Max Koedam

My journey at Nolte Mezzanine began through my father, Jurgen Koedam, who also works at the company. He once asked me if I would like to take a look at what Nolte Mezzanine produces. That visit made an immediate impression and I was given the opportunity to start in the engineering department.
Technology has always interested me, but at Nolte Mezzanine I developed a strong interest in steel construction. Coming up with solutions, working them out in 3D software and then seeing the design produced and assembled remains a special process.
What I enjoy about my work is the collaboration with customers. By truly understanding how their processes work and what they need, we can work together with engineers and structural designers to create a well-thought-out design. Input from production and assembly is important in making the translation from theory to practice.

My role at Nolte Mezzanine

I currently work as a Lead Engineer and am involved in various project teams. I am in contact with customers, suppliers, assembly teams, engineers and structural designers. This variety makes the work interesting. In addition, I am involved in product development and software development. Ideas are shared throughout the company and together we work on new products and tools that help us work more efficiently.
The logistics sector is developing rapidly and automation plays an increasingly important role. Systems such as robots and conveyors are more often integrated on mezzanines. This requires structures that can handle both dynamic and static loads. When I see one of our structures in use, I am proud of what we have achieved together.
